Accountability

The more I think of the current economic status, the more I wonder, where is our own personal accountability? It seems we wanna blame the former President, Wall street and the banks, but what about our own responsibility in what is being called the "worst economic crisis" since the great depression. How many people, thought it would be a great idea to take out a 2nd mortgage on their house just because they had built up a lot of equity, or over extend themselves with credit card after credit card just to live the high life?

We are a right now generation. Instead of properly saving until we can get what we want, or buying a smaller house until we can really afford the big house, we say screw it and charge it and don't worry about the ridiculous interest rates.

Basically, it all boils down to personal accountability. We have to take responsibility for our own actions, something all too often we don't.
